Cojamos la musica por ejemplo, es algo que mueve mucho. Los jóvenes franceses están muy entusiasmados con la banda alemana Tokio Hotel. Me parece que extraordinario. Y no importa si uno considera la música una tontería o no.
¿Qué piensa de Tokio Hotel?
Creo que, nunca debemos mirar hacia abajo en el apostolado de la juventud. Tokio Hotel canta en alemán, y hay muchos jóvenes franceses, que ahora aprender alemán solo por Tokio Hotel.
El Goethe-Institut de París informó recientemente acerca de sus cursos en alemán, como consecuencia de la manía en torno a Tokio Hotel.
Allí están! Es grande, porque algo funciona. Para los jóvenes que en estos momentos les cambia la vida. Y eso confunde a los adultos. El chef de uno de mis restaurantes tiene una hija que está loca por Tokio Hotel. Y eso le asusta. Siempre trato de tranquilizarle: “Dejales, eso es bueno, de esta manera aprenden alemán”.
